A distinctive emblem, called a logo, is used to differentiate one's products or services from other identical goods or services originating from another company. This can be in the nature of a figure, a term, a sign, etc. It is an intangible commodity used to secure the company's interest in a name or emblem. A trademark may only be licensed because it is unique with the products and services you offer. Trademarks can often not be licensed if they are false, insulting, include specifically covered emblems, etc. Trademark shall give the holders of the trademark the ability to claim for damage in the case of misuse of trademarks. Trademarks are registered in accordance with the Trademark Act, 1999 with the General of Patents Designs and Trademarks, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
